From a young age, I discovered a deep passion for helping others. I found joy in listening and offering support to those facing life’s challenges, and I realized early on how meaningful it was to be a source of comfort and guidance. As I grew older, my understanding of relationships and family dynamics deepened. I became fascinated by how marriages and family systems are interconnected, and how each person’s experiences ripple through the lives of their loved ones.
I also developed an interest in addiction counseling that was born from observing the profound impact addiction can have on families and relationships. I saw how individuals struggling with addiction were often unfairly blamed for a family’s distress, even though addiction is often a symptom of deeper systemic issues. This inspired me to pursue a career where I could not only help individuals heal but also foster understanding and growth within families as a whole.
Today, as a marriage and relationship counseling therapist, I am passionate about creating a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where individuals, couples, and families can explore their struggles, rebuild connections, and discover paths to lasting change.
I am excited to be working at Collaborative Solutions Counseling and providing relationship counseling near me in the Las Colinas area. Schedule a free Q&A meeting to discuss my affordable, sliding scale, rates.

I am a Mexican-American, born and raised in Texas. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll often find me hiking, engaging in service work, or at church—activities that feed my soul and bring me a sense of fulfillment and connection.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University. A lifelong learner at heart, I find immense joy in expanding my knowledge and honing my craft as a therapist.
In sessions, I am known for my gentle and inviting presence, creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, empowered, and even challenged. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, always guided by your unique goals. I primarily draw from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, while also incorporating systemic approaches like Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
My practice is rooted in a deep belief in the power of stories, relationships, and personal growth. I am here to walk alongside you as we work together to create meaningful change and stronger connections in your life.
I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating relational conflicts. My experience includes helping clients address challenges such as communication breakdowns, trust issues, and the complexities of family dynamics.
I have worked in an outpatient treatment facility, supporting individuals recovering from addiction and their families. I understand the critical role families play in the recovery process, and I am passionate about fostering healing and growth within these relationships.
Additionally, I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression and anxiety. I provide a compassionate, goal-oriented approach to help clients build coping skills, foster resilience, and regain a sense of balance and well-being in their lives.
