I help individuals, couples, and families navigate relationships, intimacy, sexuality, chronic illness, and life transitions with greater confidence, connection, and authenticity.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I specialize in helping people strengthen relationships, improve communication, navigate sexual concerns, and create more fulfilling lives aligned with their values.
I provide LGBTQ+ affirming, kink-informed, and consensual non-monogamy affirming care in a warm, collaborative, and judgment-free environment. Whether you're working through relationship challenges, sexual concerns, the impact of chronic illness, or simply trying to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a space to explore, grow, and create meaningful change.
Many of my clients come to therapy because they are struggling with a relationship, a sexual concern, chronic illness, or the intersection of all three. Together, we identify patterns, build skills, and create new possibilities for connection and healing.
Sex Therapy
As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I help individuals and couples address concerns related to desire differences, sexual functioning, intimacy challenges, communication around sex, sexual shame, sexual confidence, and relationship satisfaction.
Couples & Relationship Therapy
Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of joy—and one of the greatest sources of stress. I help couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, navigate conflict, deepen intimacy, and reconnect with the friendship that forms the foundation of a healthy partnership.
Consensual Non-Monogamy & Alternative Relationship Structures
I provide affirming care for individuals, couples, and polycules exploring consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, open relationships, and other non-traditional relationship structures.
Kink-Informed Therapy
I have completed specialized kink-informed training through the Sexual Health Alliance and provide a nonjudgmental therapeutic environment for individuals and relationships that include kink, BDSM, and alternative expressions of sexuality.
LGBTQ+ Affirming Care
I am committed to providing inclusive, affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families. Everyone deserves a therapeutic space where they feel respected, understood, and supported.
Problematic Sexual Behaviors
I have completed advanced training in problematic sexual behaviors and work with individuals, couples, and families navigating accountability, healing, relationship repair, and healthy sexuality.
Chronic Illness, Chronic Pain & Medical Advocacy
Living with chronic illness can affect every aspect of life, including relationships, intimacy, identity, self-esteem, and family functioning. I help clients navigate these challenges while maintaining connection, meaning, and quality of life.
I believe people are not problems to be fixed. Instead, people make sense within the context of their relationships, experiences, identities, and communities.
My clinical foundation is rooted in Narrative Therapy, and I regularly integrate concepts from Solution-Focused Therapy, Collaborative Language Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Medical Family Therapy, and neuroscience-informed approaches.
I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. My goal is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you identify what matters most to you and develop the tools needed to move toward it intentionally.
Whether we're discussing relationships, sexuality, family dynamics, chronic illness, or life's unexpected challenges, therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we'll explore what's working, identify barriers, and create meaningful change that fits your values and goals.

I've been married since 2000, and my spouse and I have enjoyed opening our home and hearts to exchange students from around the world. These relationships sparked a lifelong interest in understanding how culture shapes identity, relationships, family systems, and community.
That curiosity continues to influence both my personal and professional life. Through participation in AAMFT Global Conferences and international training experiences through the Sexual Health Alliance, I have had opportunities to learn from professionals and communities around the world. These experiences continue to deepen my appreciation for the many ways culture, values, family structures, and sexuality intersect.
Outside the therapy office, you'll often find me crocheting, swimming, traveling, taking photographs, or spending time in the water. These activities help me maintain balance and remind me of the importance of flexibility, self-compassion, and finding joy in everyday life.
I am passionate about lifelong learning and continually pursue advanced training to better serve my clients. I love exploring new research, expanding my clinical skills, and staying current with developments in relationship therapy, sex therapy, chronic illness advocacy, and systemic approaches to care.
My interest in chronic illness and medical family therapy is both professional and personal.
After many years of navigating chronic pain, complex medical symptoms, and the challenges of finding answers, I was eventually diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). While every person's experience is different, living with a chronic condition has given me firsthand insight into the frustrations of navigating healthcare systems, advocating for appropriate care, adapting to changing abilities, and managing the impact that health challenges can have on relationships and intimacy.
This journey has strengthened my belief that people deserve providers who listen carefully, understand the whole person, and recognize the ways physical health, mental health, and relationships influence one another.
I bring both clinical expertise and personal understanding to my work with clients facing chronic illness, disability, caregiver stress, chronic pain, and medical trauma.
For as long as I can remember, I've loved looking for patterns.
Early in my career, while working with groups of adolescent girls in an outcome-based program, I noticed a striking connection. The young people struggling with self-esteem and motivation were often navigating significant challenges within their families. The more I learned about family systems, the more I recognized that relationships profoundly influence how we experience ourselves and the world around us.
That realization changed the course of my career.
I decided to pursue marriage and family therapy because I wanted to better understand the complex ways people influence one another and help individuals, couples, and families build healthier, more satisfying relationships.
Today, I still bring that same curiosity into every session. I am endlessly fascinated by how people connect, communicate, and make meaning of their experiences. Helping clients uncover patterns, develop new perspectives, and create lasting change continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
I believe that healthier relationships create healthier lives, and it is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward greater connection, healing, and authenticity.
Finding the right therapist matters. Therapy works best when you feel understood, respected, and comfortable being yourself.
Whether you're seeking support for your relationship, your sexuality, adjusting to chronic illness, or navigating a major life transition, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
