Who I am and How I Practice

My name is Tabitha Tanner, and I am a graduate student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Abilene Christian University and supervised by Anna Thomison, MS, LMFT-S, CST.

My clinical interests include working with couples and marriages, trauma-informed care, and supporting children and adolescents. I am currently completing an understudy in child and adolescent trauma and approach clinical work from a systemic, attachment-based perspective that honors relational dynamics and emotional safety.

Areas of Particular Expertise

I have completed specialized training in Addressing Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders and Addressing Racial Trauma in Behavioral Health and am committed to providing culturally responsive, ethical, and compassionate care to individuals, couples, and families.
