My path to becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist is deeply personal and rooted in my own journey through trauma, healing, and restoration. Through difficult seasons in my life, I came to understand how profoundly pain, broken relationships, and unmet emotional needs can shape the way we see ourselves and those we love. I also experienced firsthand the transformative power of safe, supportive relationships—spaces where understanding, compassion, and care made healing possible. I believe God used these experiences to guide me into this work, shaping both my calling and my clinical approach.
As I learned more about family systems, attachment, and trauma, I felt a strong pull toward working with couples, marriages, and families. Our closest relationships often hold both our deepest wounds and our greatest potential for healing. Marriage, in particular, serves as the emotional foundation of the family system. When couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and restore emotional connection, the benefits ripple outward—to children, extended family, and even future generations. Walking alongside couples as they navigate conflict and rediscover one another is work I approach with humility, intention, and deep respect.

I am currently a graduate student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Abilene Christian University, completing my clinical internship under supervision. I work from a systemic, attachment‑based, and trauma‑informed perspective, honoring each client’s lived experience while prioritizing emotional safety and relational healing. I am also completing an understudy in child and adolescent traumaand have a strong interest in supporting children, teens, and families as they navigate complex emotional experiences together.
In therapy, I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and non‑judgmental space where individuals, couples, and families feel truly heard and respected. I believe healing happens within relationships, and my role is to walk alongside you as you gain insight, develop healthier patterns, and move toward deeper connection, resilience, and wholeness. Whether you are feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin, you do not have to navigate it alone.
I have completed specialized training in Addressing Trauma and Stressor‑Related Disorders and Addressing Racial Trauma in Behavioral Health, and I am committed to providing culturally responsive, ethical, and compassionate care. My goal is to support you as you face life’s challenges with clarity, hope, and the confidence that meaningful change is possible.
